To: Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana, National Treasury

Send Minister Godongwana a message ahead of his Budget Speech

Finance Minister Godongwana is feeling the pressure! According to reports, the National Treasury is finally considering the demands we have been making for years.

They are looking at increasing taxes on super-wealthy individuals and businesses, increasing the Sugary Drinks Tax to 20%, and increasing the number of VAT-free items.

Let's keep up the pressure. Send Minister Godongwana a message ahead of his 2025 Budget Speech and tell him to tax the super-wealthy individuals and big businesses, increase all social grants, fix and increase the SRD grant, and implement the BIG.

Why is this important?

For years, we fought tirelessly for our demands, and although it took time, politicians are feeling the heat now more than ever. Let us keep the fight because only we can hold the politicians accountable for their promises.
