Justice For Precious - NO BAIL for her accused murderers

Please move to deny bail and provide sufficient evidence in support of the denial of bail in the interests of community safety. Precious Magabane from Burgersfort, Limpopo was murdered and dismembered in December 2018. Her head and some parts of her abdomen were found in February 2019. Precious' body has not yet been found and her family cannot bury her. Two men were arrested in connection with this heinous crime. They will appear in the Burgersfort Magistrate's Court on Monday 11 November 2019 for their bail application hearing.

Why is this important?

Those arrested for allegedly perpetrating such violent crimes pose a severe threat to community safety and the mental and emotional well-being of ordinary citizens. Those on trial for violating human rights should not enjoy the freedom afforded by such rights until such time as they are proven innocent - we therefore demand that the perpetrators of this heinous crime be denied bail.
